Occupational Therapy Evaluation

An initial Occupational Therapy (OT) evaluation is a comprehensive process designed to assess your child's strengths and challenges in relation to their daily activities. During this session, I will gather information from you through discussions and questionnaires to better understand your child's developmental history, current concerns, and specific goals. I will use standardized assessments to measure specific skills and observe of your child’s motor skills, sensory processing abilities, social-emotional development, and overall functioning in activities such as play, self-care, and school tasks. Together, we will collaborate to identify any areas of difficulty and create a personalized plan to support your child's growth, independence, and success in everyday routines. The evaluation will provide valuable insights and will be followed by a discussion of recommended strategies and potential therapy goals moving forward.
